that comment (which i think is really dumb) makes me wonder if she will treat the children equally as they grow up. will she tend to ignore her biological child or overcompensate because of her feelings. i think all of her children should be loved and treated equally. in my mind, this is why people should have to be tested in some way before they have or adopt children.
WOW! That is strangely insensitive! I can't believe she said that! Unless it was taken out of context? That is a quote you may feel, but you keep to yourself.

I actually quite admire her honesty. Adoption in my opinion is an interesting journey and I am thankful for her expressing her real, true emotions.

I saw that quote yesterday on another site and it really bugged me - I'm with Dede on this one. I adore Angelina and always have, but often wondered if her self-destructive tendencies B.B. (Before Brad) weren't a form of self-loathing. I have yet to meet a baby that didn't come with some degree of inate personality. Alex sure did and I know you did, too. It's up to the parents to nurture that and allow the child's potential to blossom, not to dismiss it as a disappointment off hand.
For the record, I love you and always have, even if I wasn't present when you were born. And I love your mom for the excellent job she did raising you.
