I'm still not sure what to think about this movie. I saw it last fall when it came out, and even blogged some reflections, but like you said there's something deep inside of me that doesn't sit right.
I've had some indirect contact with Becky Fisher (the lady who runs the camp) through some other blogs, and she's defended who she is and what she believes.
The biggest part is that I do think, that she is sincere in believing that what she is doing is the best possible thing.
In some ways she's passionate, you and I would probably argue about the wrong things. But you got to give her some credit.
i don't know if i give her any more credit than david koresh, osama bin laden or george bush. these are people who also thought they were doing the best possible thing for their people.
